1. To demonstrate that the Holy Spirit is personal.
2. To give examples of the work of the Holy Spirit.
A. John 14:16, 17, 26 / John 15:26-27 / John 16:5-15
1. How is the Spirit described?
2. What will he do?
3. Notice the context of the Spirit's "personhood". He is not seen as an impersonal force in these passages.
B. Read and discuss the following scriptures. Give attention to the nature of the Spirit and his work.
